Repair, or buy new?

For most motors under 100 HP, replacement is faster and often cheaper than a rewind — and you get a new warranty out of it. Above that, or for a specialty frame with long lead times, a repair usually wins.

We'll give you both numbers and a straight recommendation. What we won't do is sell you a rewind on a motor that isn't worth rewinding.

The fastest quote you'll get

Take a photo of the motor nameplate and text or email it to us. HP, RPM, frame, voltage, and enclosure are all on there. We'll come back with availability and pricing, usually same day.

If the nameplate is unreadable — and on a 15-year-old cooling tower motor, it usually is — send photos of the motor and the mounting and we'll work it out from dimensions.
